PRO-TEC PLUS is a highly concentrated water base corrosion inhibitor for ferrous metals. It forms a clear solution in water and leaves a uniform rust inhibiting film on parts which will provide up to 6 months indoor storage protection on in-process and finished parts. PRO-TEC PLUS can be added to existing synthetic, semi-synthetic, and soluble oil systems to provide added rust protection. PRO-TEC PLUS inhibiting film is paintable in many applications with no adhesion problems. (Adhesion testing recommended.) It is compatible with Loctite PMS-10E Impregnation Resin.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

Spray-on or dip application for engine blocks, manifolds, heads, brake calipers, pump bodies, valves, compressor housings and air conditioning components. Hydrostatic testing fluid for compressor assembles, valves systems, pumps and various engine components.

RECOMMENDED STARTING CONCENTRATIONS

Mix with water at 2 - 5% for normal use. Solutions above 5% are not usually needed.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Use at room temperature. If frozen, allow to thaw completely prior to use. Do not expose to extreme high temperature due to possible drum rupture. Do not pressurize drum or reuse empty container.
